Tiffany Haddishhas been arrested, PEOPLE can confirm.
According to the Beverly Hills Police Department (BHPD), the actress, 43, was arrested on Friday morning and is currently facing a DUI charge after she allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel of a car.
TMZ, who wasfirst to report the news, said that Haddish had previously performed atThe Laugh Factoryin West Hollywood the night prior, in celebration of the venue’s 43rd annual free Thanksgiving feast for the community event.

Haddish’s recent arrest comes about after theGirls Tripstar wasarrested for another DUI-related incidentback in January 2022.
“Subsequent investigation led to Ms. Tiffany Haddish being arrested for Driving Under the Influence,” police told PEOPLE at the time. “She was transported to the Fayette County Jail without incident.”
Haddish lateraddressed the incidentwhile guest hostingThe Ellen DeGeneres Showin April 2022. “Yes, I did get charged with a DUI, which stand for Dumb Unfortunate Incidents,” the comedian joked during the broadcast.
She is due in court Dec. 4 for that case, TMZ reports.
