Lobster Roll

From mini pulled pork sliders to cheesy prosciutto pasta, check out the most delicious things our PEOPLE staff couldn’t stop eating — and talking about — this week.

HOT, BUTTERY LOBSTER ROLL“We had a bonus weekend of summer weather here in New York, which, for me, means three things: beach, bike rides and lobster rolls. So after the beach, I rode my bike toBostwick’s Chowder Housefor their signature sandwich. The East Hampton spot is one of my favorites, and their lobster roll is truly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I usually go for their classic one with mayo, but when I noticed one of their specials — a hot, butter-smothered lobster roll — I had to try it. The verdict: just as delicious as the original.”—Michelle Ward, PEOPLE staff food & lifestyle writer

SNAPPERS PEANUT PRETZEL“Are you the kind of person who craves either saltyorsweet? If so, I envy you. Because I crave it all. After I’m done snacking on something salty, I immediately want something sweet — and vice versa. Maybe that’s why I hoard Edward Marc’sSnappers($5-$12) when they arrive at the PEOPLE office. These turtle-like bundles of salty pretzels, sweet caramel and gourmet milk chocolate simply satisfy every single craving I’m having. And, recently, they introduced new dark chocolate and peanut-packed varieties too, which means I’ll have to make even more room in my desk drawer to stash these cravings-busters.” —Sonal Dutt, PEOPLE senior food & lifestyle editor,@sonal_dutt

Ice Cream

HOMEMADE COLD-BREW COFFEE CHOCOLATE CHIP ICE CREAM“I’m a bit ice cream obsessed. I started making ice cream a couple of years ago and have stuck with it, inventing new flavors and even entering an ice cream competition. (Sadly, I did not win.) Whilemint chocolate chiphas always been my favorite, coffee chocolate chiphas started to give it a run for it’s money. With the batch I made this week, I tried something new. Instead of adding coffee grounds to the ice cream base when it was hot, I made cold brew with milk instead of water and used that to make the ice cream. It made for an incredibly smooth coffee flavor. I think my recipe is forever changed.”—Kristin Appenbrink, PEOPLE.com contributing editor,@kristinapp

Pasta

Coffee

COFFEE“This is my daily morning ritual: I make coffee (usually withGorilla‘s Espresso-A-Go-Go beans) with my awesome, affordableAeropress. Members of my family know to steer clear until the process, which takes about seven minutes, is complete.”—Lexi Dwyer, PEOPLE.com contributor,@lexidwyerink

Slider

PULLED PORK SLIDERS“I had these cute little pulled pork sliders atStella 34 Trattoriaduring a launch party forMartha Stewart Living’s new bookOne Pot. The restaurant served appetizers all made from recipes right out of the book. Everything was delicious, but the sliders were definitely my favorite. The flavor was just right and there was the perfect amount of coleslaw — not an over abundance. I can’t wait to make these at home and everything else from her new book for that matter!”—Ana Calderone, PEOPLE editorial assistant,@anacalderone
