If there’s one trend we simply cannot ignore this season, it’s crossbody bags.

Over the past few months, dozens of celebrities have been spottedwearing the convenient, hands-free purse on repeat. While each of their styles vary slightly in fabric and design, they all have one thing in common: A handy long strap that can be worn across the body or off the shoulder.

Jennifer Lawrence has carried herclassic black banana-belt bag hybridat least five times recently and Taylor Swift has been opting for multiplebrown leather crossbody bagsfor her latest outings. There’s also Sarah Jessica Parker, who keeps usingthe same green crossbody pursein New York City, and Mindy Kaling, who can’t put downher quilted Chanel bag.

Taylor Swift has been spotted carrying the Ralph Lauren Shoulder Bag and theMansur Gavriel M Frame Box Bagon numerous occasions, but you don’t have to spend a fortune to replicate her look. Go for a brown leather crossbody bag, like this one Kate Spade that’s a whopping $174 off.

The designer purse has a front flap and is big enough to hold your smartphone, wallet, and other small essentials, which can be neatly organized in the inner pocket. It comes in three other colors — white, off-white, and black — if you’d prefer something other than brown. The genuine leather material makes it the ideal transitional bag, as you can wear it with casual matching sets and sweatpants, but also with dressy trousers and blazers.

This $88 half-moon crescent bag looks strikingly similar to Lawrence’s go-to purse. And the number of times she’s used it lately is proof that it’s a neutral style that works with a variety of laid-back looks. Take fashion notes from Lawrence and wear it with everything from baggy jeans to cargo pants.

This one has a small front zipper pocket in addition to the larger main compartment, which has a roomy design that would be good if you’ve got more items you need to stash. The actress’ preference is classic black, but this one also comes in brown and olive.

Kaling’s iconic Chanel bag would cost you a few thousand dollars, but this Amazon dupe is only $25. The designer lookalike has that same classy, quilted pattern and silver-toned accent hardware.

The black crossbody bag has a metal lock closure to keep your items secure. While it can be used to dress up a jeans and T-shirt, like Kaling did, it’s also ideal for dressier occasions like cocktail parties and weddings. If you’re intothe quiet luxury trend, this bag should be your next purchase.

Trendsetters, like Sarah Jessica Parker, know that a nylon bag is just as cool as a leather one — and this $20 find looks almost identical to hers. It comes in seven colors, including an olive hue that resembles Parker’s.

The unisex style has a handy inside pocket and a thick, adjustable strap. Plus, the water-repellent fabric makes it a great companion for outdoor activities. But it can also easily be styled with all your everyday outfits, too. Take a cue from theSex and the Citystar and wear it at the airport or while you travel.

Though we’re seeing an uptick in the number of celebrities carrying crossbody bags, the style is one that will never truly fade away. Keep scrolling to shop for more celebrity-inspired crossbody bags this season.
