Selma Blairis opening up about her experience as a single parent living with multiple sclerosis.

TheLegally Blondeactress, 52, spoke withTodayabout how herdiagnosishas impacted her while raising herson Arthur, 13, as a single mom. Blair spoke candidly about living with the disease and all the ways she’s working to raise awareness and destigmatize it.

“I think since I had him I’d been afflicted with MS, and I didn’t know [because] I was diagnosed later,” theCruel Intentionsstar began. “My fatigue was always the main issue and as any parent knows, especially a single parent, there’s no room for extra fatigue.”

The mom said that she’s always had to find and connect with other people for tips and tricks on how to handle things, like her fatigue. Blair said that she always had to ask the question, “How do you do this?” when raising her son.

“I had to ask advice for everything,” she toldToday,adding, that she’s now “in a good spot.”

Blair also shared that her son, who celebrated his 13th birthday in July 2024, is “so much older” now and, like most teenagers, “doesn’t want to be with me as much.” Arthur joined the proud mom in Paris for Fashion Week last September, as the two sat front row at theChloé’s Spring 2025 runway show.
