Ariana GrandeandCynthia Erivohave solidified their costar status in ink.
TheWickedlead actresses showed off two matching tattoos on Instagram that seem to represent their time shooting the film adaptation of the Broadway musical in which Erivo, 36, plays Elphaba (the green witch) and Grande, 30, plays Glinda the Good Witch.
The tattoos — a poppy flower and the phrase “for good” — are placed on each woman’s hand.
The poppy is likely a reference to the field of poppies inThe Wizard of Oz, where Dorothy (Judy Garland) falls asleep on her way to meet the Wizard and “For Good” is a lyric from theWickedsong of the same name — which is also happens to be an emotional duet between the show’s leads.
