Edo, as Princess Beatrice’s husband is known, shared aspecial poston Instagram on Monday to celebrate their daughterSienna Elizabeth’s second birthday. The never-before-seen photo showed Sienna from behind, strolling outside while sporting a floral dress (one of her mom’s go-to patterns!) and a sombrero.
Sienna was born on Sept. 18, 2021, a little over a year after her parents got married in July 2020 in a scaled-down wedding to fit COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time.
Hermiddle nameis a tribute to Queen Elizabeth, Princess Beatrice’s grandmother. Beatrice also chose a name that incorporated several thoughtful nods to her mother,Sarah Ferguson(or “Fergie,” as the Duchess of York is affectionately called), including the hue of the locks the mother and daughter have.
Sienna’s birth made Edo’s son from a previous relationship, Christopher Woolf (who is affectionately nicknamed Wolfie), a big brother. In an announcement made shortly after the new addition, Beatrice and Edo said, “We are all doing well, and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna.”
Sienna is currently 10th in the line of succession to the British throne, just behind her mother.

While the nuptials likely marked Sienna’s debut in a wedding role, Wolfie stepped into the spotlight for a wedding before. Edo’s son took on the role of thebest man and page boywhen his dad married Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter three years ago.
