It’s aWayne’s Worldreunion!
“We’re not worthy!” Myers said in the voice of Wayne, one of the main characters in the film.
“Don’t hurl cause if you honk I’ll spew,” Myers said in one of the memorable lines in the film.
“And if you spew I’ll blow chunks, so I shall not hurl,” Carvey replied.
Laughing, Myers said, “Good call. Good call. ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ played a large part in the success of Wayne’s World. We’re humbled to be associated with that brilliant song.”
The two then introducedBohemian Rhapsody, which is up for several awards including Best Picture.

In an iconic opening sequence, Wayne, Garth and three of their friends drive through town while blasting “Bohemian Rhapsody” in their car.
The use of Queen’s song propelled it to number two on theBillboardsingles charts 17 years after its initial release.
In November, Myers told Stephen Colbert onThe Late Show with Stephen Colbertthat he fought for “Bohemian Rhapsody” to be featured in the film when the studio wanted a Guns N’ Roses song.

“I really fought hard for that to be the song,” Myers said. “To the point, I’m not very bright sometimes, [I said], ‘I don’t want to be in the movie [if the song isn’t included]. Lorne Michaels was like, ‘Let me get this straight, you’ve never been in a movie, you’re not likely to be in a movie and now you’re not going to be in a movie?’”
“So Lorne said, well if you feel that passionately about it then sure,” Myers said.
The actors’ association with Queen came full circle in the film when he portrayed EMI executive Ray Foster, who turns down the song.
The 91st Academy Awards are broadcasting live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT on ABC.
