Mariah Careyrecently visited the White House to spread some holiday cheer!
The self-proclaimed Queen of Christmas, 54, took her 12-year-old twins,Monroe and Moroccan, on a trip to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave for a joyful affair.
“While there, we got to see all the festive decor and spread some cheer! 🎄❄️☃️,” she continued.
Her social media carousel started with a photo of herself and her kids standing beside President Joe Biden in the Oval Office. Other images showed Carey and her two children gazing at the 18 1/2-foot tree’s decorations.
“Some of the kids said that they had never seen a tree so big,”the first lady previously saidafter receiving the centerpiece just after Thanksgiving.
On Sunday, the Grammy winner also marked another momentous occasion — filming herclosing nightChristmas concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

On Dec. 9, Carey treated adoring fans with a surprise appearance fromAriana GrandeandJennifer Hudson. The trio sang their2020 song “Oh Santa"during the concert.
“I ended up going to New York because Miss Mariah Carey, she always comes up with big, great ideas, and she came up with the idea that her Christmas angels, which is Ariana Grande and myself, be a surprise for her Madison Square Garden performance,” theRespectactress, 42, said during an episode ofThe Jennifer Hudson Showlast week. “What a lovely surprise that was, because nobody knew we were coming.”

She and theWickedactress, 30, “flew out” because the “We Belong Together” singer wanted them to do the song live.
“Nobody had no idea we were popping up, and she was like, ‘My Christmas angels.Where’s JHud? Where’s Ari?'”
Carey’s first holiday album,Merry Christmas, was released in 1994. Since then, she has been known for going all-out for December.
Earlier this month, the iconspoke exclusively to PEOPLEabout her14-city Christmas tour.
“I’ve been working day and night on this one,” she said. “I worked with some incredible people on this, likeMiss Debbie Allen.” TheFameicon, 73, was the creative director and choreographer on the tour. “I’ll be doing songs I’ve never done before, some duets,” she teased. “I’ve got to keep some surprises.”
She also discussed some of the music she planned to play.
“Some songs like that will give me a melancholy feeling. But I still just soak that up because I love it so much. At the holidays, I love listening to the songs I grew up hearing.”
