Kotb asked Bush Hager about the name, to which she explained, “The hope is that we’re pulling up the chair for a thousand different perspectives. Because I do feel like literature and reading, and I’ve always felt this way, can bring you into different worlds; can show you different perspectives.”
“But what I’m really excited about is that we’re working with emerging authors,” she continued, “We’re working with debut writers — one of who is in her 20s, one of whom is 61 years old and just published a book. We have six books that we are publishing over the next year starting in 2025.”
Speaking about Sullivan’sConform, Bush Hager teased, “It is an incredible book. I finished it at 5:30 in the morning on a treadmill. So you know that’s good. It is a sweeping, dystopian romance trilogy. This woman is so prolific; it’s a trilogy of trilogies. It’s three different trilogies combined.”
Ultimately, she said the venture has “been the gift of a lifetime.”
Conformwill be released on Dec. 7, 2025 and is now available for preorder wherever books are sold.
