Jackson’s attorney Brandon Davies told PEOPLE in a statement that his client “has done nothing wrong.”
“We had full confidence that the truth of the matter would ultimately be revealed,” Davies added.
Vaughn told theKansas City Starin an interview recounting the incident last year that Jackson was friends with her stepdaughter, who was a restaurant employee. He and five friends showed up at the restaurant and made their way into the basement office, she said.
“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere,” she told the newspaper.
“And I’m telling him, pushing him off, saying ‘What are you doing?’ and then he proceeded to do it two more times,” Vaughn recalled. “Where the last time I was pushing him off, and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door, and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.”
TMZpublished surveillance videofrom the alleged incident last year, which appeared to show Jackson repeatedly grabbing Vaughn’s neck and kissing her as she looks to push him away. Moments prior, Jackson also allegedlyshoved a young male waiterout of the room, theKansas City Starreported.
The fourth battery charge Jackson still faces stems from him allegedly shoving the waiter multiple times.
