Damon Albarn ’s been make music now for decades ( ! ) , but today the Blur , Gorillaz , and The Good , The Bad , and The Queen frontman released the lead single from Everyday Robots , his very first solo LP . The video for the song was direct by creative person and designerAitor Throup , and offers a digitized glimpse at what ’s pass behind the Albarn’shandsome face(swoon ) .
The construct is cool . “ I was really concerned in the estimate of how the challenge of inhabit with technology has turned us into repeats of the same , ” Throup explains on his situation . “ It ’s a sort of single argument on the red ink of individuality through engineering , done in a means that at the same clock time not only embrace it , but is dependent on it . ”
I wish the visuals looked as rich and haunting and cryptic as the song sounds . Or am I just fag ? Is this awe-inspiring ? Whaddya think ? [ A.V. Club ]
