We have now become used to the breakthrough of raw exoplanets , but there are still many unknowns that are yet to be understood .

An international squad of astronomer set out to answer one of these unknowns : What are the more golden characteristics that superstar need to have for the organisation of giant major planet ?   In doing so , they have find four new exoplanets orbiting four unlike stars more monumental than the Sun .

The squad reckon the radial velocity of 166 whiz , and expose four new major planet around four of them :   HIP95124b , HIP8541b , HIP74890b , and HIP84056b . The results were published in apaperaccepted for publication in the journal Astronomy & Astrophysics .

HIP95124b has the short orbital geological period of the four planets ( about 560 days )   and has   2.9 Jupiter masses . It orbits a virtuoso that is almost double as massive as the Sun   and with five multiplication its r .

HIP8541b , on the other hand , is the one with the furthest   sphere ( about 1,560 years )   and is the heavy with a mass of 5.5 Jupiters . Its mavin is only slightly heavier than the Sun but almost eight times encompassing .

HIP74890b and HIP84056b are unmistakably similar , orbiting stars about 1.7 time the mass of the Sun in about 820 days . Even their mass is pretty similar , 2.4 and 2.6 times the pot of Jupiter , respectively .

The scientists also find an interesting drift . They noticed that giant major planet tend to be found more often around stars that are rich in elements like oxygen , carbon , and iron .
