Brooklinn Khouryis sharing her “painful” yet “rewarding” series of reconstructive surgeries following a vicious dog attack over three years ago.
On Monday, the 24-year-old posted a series of graphic photos onInstagramthat documented the immediate aftereffects of the attack. The first photo captured Khoury’s face shortly after the attack, with her nose wrapped in gauze and her eyes swollen nearly shut. Subsequent photos included shots of Khoury’s initial injuries and then images after the first rounds of surgery.
“When I look back at these pictures it’s hard to believe that my nose was as bad as it was,” Khoury wrote in the caption.
She continued to explain how her face was initially impacted. “I was missing my cartilage and inner parts of my nose and nostrils. This surgery was the hardest and most painful, but most rewarding.”

“When I was going through all of these surgeries, it was really hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel,” the social media influencer wrote in December. “Life is unpredictable, but so beautiful. I’m proud of you. Keep going.”
