Website Indie Revolver has shot of what may be a version of Imperial stormtrooper we ’ll be seeing in Episode VII . And the picture are very convincing .
Spoilers of a sort ahead . But mostly speculation .

Comic Book Moviesays that this is being referred to as a “ Jungle Trooper ” because it ’s being featured in filming at the tree house set at Pinewood Studios .
For my part , I match with Indie Revolver ’s take that it seem closer to the Snowtroopers that appear on Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back , what with the sleeker , flared helmet . With a bit of the Imperial Guard ’s eyepiece added on . It seems more natural for a “ Jungle Trooper ” design to construct on the Scout Troopers learn on Endor in Return of the Jedi , which this definitely is n’t .

The 2d helmet look like a good continuation of the original , much like the spaceship J.J. Abrams give away in the Force For Change video felt like acontinuation of the X - Wing . If nothing else , the influence of Ralph McQuarrie is strong in the new films .
The 2nd helmet has some change : it ’s asymmetric with only one vent at the bottom entrust , the “ mouth ” is a black mesh ( better seen in the close up exposure ) , and the two black “ eyes ” are wholly link up by a shameful visor small-arm .
UPDATE : Indie Revolver has posted a pic ( i.e. not concept art ) of a physical edition of the 2d helmet , which we ’ve included below . The photo was originally posted atthe RPF , “ a land site dedicated to replicas of movie airscrew and costumes . ” It appears to reassert the unilateral placement of the vent mentioned above . No well-defined indication yet whether this is an actual flick airplane propeller , or a piece of conception art realized by a costume companionship , but we ’ll keep you updated as we learn more .
