Anderson , it ’s about a world wherealiens have taken over Earth . For fun , they watch homo broadcast their relationshipson societal media .
The film adaptation , from writer - director Cory Finley , starts there but becomes so much more , which you ’ll finally be able to see in the moving-picture show ’s newly released first house trailer . The trailer show the romance , the aliens , and even some of the wild places the motion picture goes as it erratically jump across its story .
We reviewed the motion-picture show out of Sundanceand found it , while flawed , incessantly compelling . Truly , this is a report and picture that goes for it in waysmost independent filmscan’t even begin to think , but you ’ll begin to think from that range of a function above and trailer below .

The film stars Asante Blackk and Kylie Rogers as the master two characters , but Tiffany Haddish , Josh Hamilton , William Jackson Harper , and Michael Gandolfini are also along for the ride . Each has a smaller supporting role , but adds their own gravitas to a story that can , at time , get overwhelmed by the fact there are these wild , creepy , blocky aliens running around .
Honestly , Landscape With Invisible Hand is a mixed suitcase . We excuse that in our review . But if you jazz sci - fi films that try on new things , explore new ideas , and perhaps gleam a light on some older ideas too , you will find it continuously interesting .
