The Cassini mission to Saturn has been bountiful with the gorgeous pictures in the past — including one gorgeous shot that wander up in the last Star Trek movie . But these freshly free images of Titan might be the most arresting Cassini pictures yet .
As Cassini ’s Carolyn Porco writes in an announcement of these images , Titan is “ the only moon in the solar arrangement with a substantial atmosphere . A couple of Saturn ’s stark , airless , icy moons also seem in these scene , seeming to drop beside Titan ’s orange tree globe . The atmosphere of Titan is of enceinte stake because of its similarities to the air believe to subsist long ago on the other Earth . ”
The picture above shows the small Sun Myung Moon Tethys cheep out from behind the blurry , more colourful Titan . fit out more of the beautiful young pictures here , andclick over to Cassini ’s sitefor more info .

concord to NASA , “ These views from NASA ’s Cassini ballistic capsule bet toward the south arctic region of Saturn ’s largest moon , Titan , and show a depression within the moon ’s orange and blue haze layer near the south rod . ”
A bit of an ocular magic — Saturn ’s third largest Sun Myung Moon , Dione , looks bigger than the large lunar month , Titan , because of position .
Titan passes in front of Saturn and its closed chain .

Titan in front of Dione , and the two of them in front of Saturn .
