The six medium - size of it orangeness shrimp were just a touch chewy after their sloppy , 10 - minute water bath , but they bet and smelled like what you get at the supermarket . NASA ’s cocktail sauce is spiked with plenty of horse radish and saltiness . If anything can revive threadbare predilection bud in space , this dish is it . I chased it with a pouch of fine-grained mango - orange drink . The lush but tangy mango flavor juiced up the orange ’s fragrance , and the mango scent was pronounced . It was delicious .
Breakfast , on the other hand …

The food scientists had also sent two breakfast point , freeze - dry out “ Mexican ” eggs and a blimp cake . The eggs , colored a lustrous buttercup yellow , were bouncy and broke down into small , dry curd . Flavorwise they were like a reluctant suitor , vaguely sweet but unwilling to make the full sense of taste commitment . Hot sauce , ketchup even , would work wonder here . Nothing , however , could have save the sausage cake .
