Last week , Julie Knight of Coxley , England number home to a grim sight . More than 100 dead and hurt starlings had fallen out of the sky and onto her prop . Was it an unseeable UFO or a Flashforward - like event ?
According to Mrs. Knight ,
The sky was raining starlings . One of my neighbours escort them . They seemed to just go down out of the sky . About 70 were dead directly forth .
The only means to describe what they looked like is that they seemed to have had a fright and were petrified .
We called out the RSPCA and their animal welfare officer accept a few away in cages and euthanised the rest .
There must have been over 100 birds in total . I ’ve been a country girl all my life and I ’ve never seen anything like it .
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals were unable to determine the cause of the birds end . The fowl sustained physical injuries – they were neither poisoned nor did they vanish into great power lines . RSPCA spokeswoman Helen Cohen believes the snort may have surprise by a predator :
The only potential explanation we can recall of is that something has caused the flock to suddenly change their focussing of flight and caused them to hit the ground .
It could have been that a bird of prey could have frighten them into doing this , but it is still a mystery really .
